Modern style focusing on design and innovative, functional solutions in combination with an easy-to-control hull that allows excellent speed with a single engine. The Nimbus 365 Coupé will be unveiled to the world on the occasion of Nimbus Boats’ Open House in Långedrag between 22 and 24 August. This boat is the first of a brand new generation of Coupés based on the successful "sidewalk" concept. Sidewalk is the name of a new type of deck layout that maximises the available space on one side of the boat, making it easy to climb aboard or disembark from the boat or stay on deck, while at the same time the cockpit and cabin are generously proportioned.

The 365 Coupé is the first boat in a new generation of Coupé models offering numerous exciting new features. In addition to the sidewalk, the most obvious of these is a more modern style, glued windows with a large curved front window, a flush-mounted sliding door on the starboard side and the largest opening glass roof on the market. The innovative flush-mounted side door allows maximum gangway width and a wide door opening, while the door itself is an integral part of the design. The windows in the superstructure are fitted using polyurethane adhesive and provide a modern appearance as well as unique stability for the superstructure and a very quiet saloon. In addition, the boat offers a large afterdeck on the same level as the bathing platform and the saloon. The spacious saloon with its large flat surfaces feels light and modern yet cosy thanks to the combination of materials used in cushions and pillows and the solid woodwork in the saloon and cockpit. The helm and instrumentation feel extremely functional and modern by virtue of a new ergonomic layout with new colour combinations that reduce light reflection.

Inside, the 365 Coupé offers several new features, including a bulkhead covered with light fabric to increase the feeling of space and also muffle noise. The toilet has two entrances and there is also a full-height shower cubicle.

The 365 Coupé has been developed with catchwords such as solid, functional and comfort in mind using a modern design employing environment-conscious production technology and good performance. Thanks to our development process and production technology (Nimbus Production System), with great similarities to the automotive industry, we have developed a boat that yields hard-to-beat environmental properties. The plastic is manufactured solely by vacuum injection, which is an extremely environment-friendly closed manufacturing process. This production technique involves an outer mould and an inner membrane resting together in a vacuum. The negative pressure draws the polyester in between the mould and the membrane, and as the method is closed, the environmental impact is more or less negligible. The quality of the end product is both higher and more consistent. The boat is also lighter and more rigid. This gives it a good cruising speed even with just one engine, thus reducing both the initial cost and fuel consumption, and thereby emissions of exhaust fumes and carbon dioxide, compared with other similar-sized boats with two engines. Once again Nimbus has developed a boat that reduces environmental impact in both use and production.

The distinguishing characteristics of the boat include a number of innovative solutions. Good stowage and a layout that provides large social areas ideal for the whole family or for socialising with friends. The generous forward cabin holds a large double bed and has plenty of storage space in the form of sliding drawers, two wardrobes and several handily-positioned small stowage compartments and shelves.

The guest cabin on the port side has a double bed plus a sofa and large wardrobe. There is also a large toilet with a proper full-height shower cubicle with swinging door. In addition to the two sleeping cabins, the saloon area also offers sleeping accommodation. The boat’s cockpit has a galley with large flat wooden surfaces and generous storage areas. A cooker and sink are concealed under the elegant wooden counter, which folds up quickly and easily. There is plenty of space in the sliding drawers, as well as a specially-designed telescopic wine and glass store and a roomy stainless steel fridge.

Simple canopy handling, very quiet and smooth operation and, of course, a very well-planned production process, give the new Nimbus 365 Coupé unique characteristics. All in all, the 365 Coupé is a modern, solid and functional boat with reduced environmental impact, making it ideal for an uncomplicated and enjoyable life at sea.

The Nimbus Coupé is the best-selling range of models in its class with over 3,000 boats produced over the years, making it one of the world's most popular cruisers.
