Even at the earliest stage of the development brief and plans for the Targa 47 we declared our intention to create a model that would ‘Redefine the Art of Express Cruising’. As its award-winning record now shows, this objective has certainly been achieved successfully, due in large part to the many advances we’ve made in the application of the very latest technologies and electronic systems, enabling us to exploit their full potential within the already well proven Targa design concept. A concept that itself has moved on apace to create the latest generation of these widely admired and sought after models.

At first sight, her innovative, dramatic styling makes an immediate impression on the senses. One that is, to say the least, powerful. Then, when you step aboard, you discover that while the 47 boasts a great many innovations, she has also inherited all the key elements of the successful Targa design philosophy including the signature feature of our GRAN TURISMO models - the beautifully engineered retractable hardtop. The story just gets better and better as you explore the incredibly spacious cockpit, the magnificent saloon, the well-equipped galley and the two large, comfortable cabins, each with its own en suite. The large stern bathing platform with its neatly integrated garage for tenders or water toys, is yet another reason you might imagine yourself having a lot of fun on this elegant and impressive Targa.

Performance estimates are given in good faith, but are in no way guaranteed for any particular boat. Dirt on the bottom of the boat, damage to the propellers, engine tuning, external water and air temperatures and the weight of the crew, fuel and water carried can all adversely affect performance.
